Since its creation in 1973, the Arkansas Natural Heritage Commission has participated in a variety of partnerships to protect the biodiversity of the “Natural State.” These partnerships aid with management of the System of Natural Areas and promote other conservation actions and initiatives. Likewise, ANHC staff share their specialized expertise with our conservation partners, while at the same time benefiting from the skill sets of experts in other fields.
