Roberts joins ANHC as a land management specialist

Emily Roberts has joined the ANHC as a part-time land management specialist, a position recently vacated by Kat Abbott. Roberts has a bachelor of science degree in environmental management, with a biology concentration, from the University of Central Arkansas (UCA). She is a graduate of the Norbert O. Schedler Honors College at UCA.

Roberts most recently worked as a fire crew member for the L-A-D Foundation/Pioneer Forest in Salem, Mo. She has experience as a biological science technician in the botany program at the Mt. Hood National Forest in Dufur, Ore.; as a field technician for the Romance Christmas Tree Farm in Romance, Ark.; and as an AmeriCorps member at the Salmon-Challis Forest Training Center in Challis, Idaho.
