Master Hummingbird Bander Tana Beasley will answer your questions about Ruby-throated Hummingbirds in this virtual Q&A session, hosted by Audubon Arkansas. Register in advance at this link. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

Tana Beasley is the Arkansas Game & Fish Commission’s (AGFC) Facility Manager for the Potlatch Conservation Education Center at Cook’s Lake near Casscoe. Tana is originally from Lubbock, TX.  After graduating from Harding University, she taught biology and applied biology in public schools before becoming an educator with AGFC. She is the only federally permitted master hummingbird bander in the state. She began banding hummingbirds in 2008 and bands at least 300 birds a year.
